WQOW, TV, the ABC affiliate in beautiful Eau Claire, Wisconsin has a rare opening for a Sports Director to anchor our weeknight sportscasts and direct our local sports coverage.
JOB EXPERIENCE
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes sports of all kinds; someone who goes beyond the highlights and brings the emotional stories that come with high level competition.
You will cover everything from prep to pros: the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers, and most importantly, our home-grown athletes at the high school level.
REQUIREMENTS
Our Sports Director will shoot, write, edit and produce on a daily basis. We’re looking for someone who has a strong on-air presence and can manage their own time and schedule. You need to have at least 2 years of broadcast experience and know more about sports than your friends.
This position requires the ability to carry up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
