DESCRIPTION
WKOW-TV, the ABC affiliate in beautiful Madison, WI has an opening for a bright, motivated news anchor who can also produce and report.
In this role, you would co-produce and co-anchor a popular state-wide weekend morning newscast serving the Wisconsin markets of Madison, Wausau, La Crosse and Eau Claire. During the week, you would report for our morning show, Wake Up Wisconsin.
JOB EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a competitive journalist who focuses on breaking news and live elements for our very important morning newscasts. You should have strong anchoring, reporting, producing, writing and editing skills as well as the ability to give clear live reports on the desk and in the field.
REQUIREMENTS
Everyone on our team not only produces content for television, but also our digital, mobile and social platforms.
Applicants must have a degree in journalism or a related multi-media field and at least one year of broadcast experience.
