DESCRIPTION
Our photojournalists must be able to gather, shoot, edit and deliver creative television news stories. Candidates should demonstrate solid ethical news judgment and have excellent communication skills. Must understand basic storytelling, shooting, lighting, audio and editing techniques. Our team takes pride in maintaining a high level of quality, including impeccable lighting in the field. Must be capable of learning how to operate microwave or satellite live trucks and other broadcast equipment. News photojournalists will gather video and information in the field, work closely with reporters and other newsroom staff, deliver content (both raw and edited) quickly, run liveshots, shoot and edit stories under tight deadlines and be prepared to work a variety of shifts which could include overnights or weekends. Teamwork with a reporter is essential, but some days you may gather the news solo. Photojournalists will also be cross-trained as newscast show editors.
High school diploma required. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Previous newsgathering experience preferred. Please include a link to your recent work with your application.

- Minimum two years’ experience operating video recording equipment
