DESCRIPTION
Mid-West Family of Illinois, located in Rockford, is seeking a Traffic & Broadcast Fulfillment Coordinator. Do you thrive on helping others on your team? Do you love to solve puzzles? Candidates must have strong organizational skills, understand inventory management, be exceptional at attention to detail, have above average computer skills, enjoy a very dynamic fast paced business environment, and be willing to become part of our people-focused growth culture. The individual hired for this position will report to our Business Manager and work closely with other team managers, as well as members of our Business Development team.
Note: This position is an in-office position for the first few months or until our team develops a trust in your knowledge and ability to get the job done. The possibility for hybrid work (or to work remotely) will be available on occasion and/or under special circumstances, should such a situation arise. Determinations about hybrid work will be made by the leadership team on a case-by-case basis and after a few months of performance with the team.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Reliable, capable of handling daily deadlines and key job functions in a dynamic fast paced business environment. The individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to adapt to multiple programs. Previous experience in the broadcast industry is helpful but not required because we will train the right person to work with us and fit into our culture.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential job functions (but not limited to):

Generate daily commercial program logs, which requires working at a fast pace to ensure proper client/advertising placements and scheduling commercials as ordered.

Assisting in the management of inventory.

Tracking and maintaining station sponsorships.

Reconciling daily program logs to ensure advertiser’s spot placements are as ordered.

Ensuring proper commercial rotations and scheduling of advertising, which includes assigning commercial spot numbers.

Completing affidavits for local, national, and barter/network clients.

Printing of weekly and monthly sales reports.

Working with all team members to help achieve cross-departmental goals.

Must be able to troubleshoot to find solutions to a variety of “puzzle”-like situations that arise.

Backup our other IL traffic departments and serve as a leader with their teams as needed.

Administrative duties, including AP, AR, front desk coverage, etc, as needed.

Entering sales/advertising orders for local, agency, and national clients, on a daily and/or weekly basis.

Working with our fulfillment teams for digital and event based products as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits:
Part time (hourly), Monday-Friday 8:30am-2pm
401K (when eligible)
