We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Streaming Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable live and on-demand video experiences to millions of users across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS Elemental products and a deep understanding of streaming protocols, monitoring tools, and CDN optimization.

Responsibilities:
•    Design, implement, and support live and on-demand video workflows using AWS Elemental services, including MediaLive, MediaTailor, and MediaConvert.
•    Manage and optimize video delivery via Amazon CloudFront and other CDN platforms.
•    Monitor video stream performance and availability, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
•    Maintain and optimize HLS packaging workflows for adaptive bitrate streaming.
•    Collaborate with DevOps, backend, and product teams to integrate video delivery into multi-platform applications.
•    Build and maintain infrastructure and automation tools to improve deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
•    Ensure video pipeline scalability, redundancy, and compliance with evolving technical standards.
•    Contribute to documentation, operational runbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements: 
•    3+ years of experience in video streaming engineering or a related field.
•    Hands-on experience with AWS Media Services, including MediaLive, MediaTailor, and MediaConvert.
•    Proficiency with video streaming protocols and formats, particularly HLS.  Experience with MPEG-DASH or CMAF considered a plus. 
•    Strong understanding of CDN technologies, preferably with CloudFront.
•    Experience with monitoring and observability tools for video workflows (e.g., New Relic, CloudWatch, custom dashboards).
•    Familiarity with video codecs, DRM, ad insertion workflows, and video quality metrics.
•    Experience working with scripting or automation tools (Bash, Terraform, etc.) is a plus.
•    Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
