Job Summary/Description:
KPLC-TV is looking for a highly motivated Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter to cover all things sports in Southwest Louisiana.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited t,o anchoring our weekend sportscasts, shooting/writing/editing stories for various platforms, and producing sports segments for traditional and streaming television. 7Sports covers a host of teams in the region across all sports, including McNeese, UL-Lafayette, LSU, and the New Orleans Saints.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Requirements include being a multimedia expert who knows the principles of digital and broadcast journalism.
– A degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred.
– MVR is also required.
