The anticipated starting salary range for Detroit, M.I. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $12.48/Hr. – $12.48/Hr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic student looking to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of radio, digital, and event marketing? Audacy Detroit is seeking a bright and energetic Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team for an exciting 8-week summer internship!

JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced sales and marketing teams, gaining valuable insights into the strategies and execution that drive revenue and audience engagement. Your responsibilities may include:

Sales Support:
- Assisting the sales team with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Conducting research on potential clients and market trends.
- Maintaining and updating sales databases and CRM systems.
- Helping to coordinate sales meetings and events.
- Shadowing Account Executives on client calls and meetings.
Marketing Initiatives:
- Supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms (on-air, digital, social media, events).
- Assisting with content creation for social media, websites, and email marketing.
- Helping to plan and execute station events and promotions.
- Analyzing marketing campaign performance and providing insights.
- Assisting with the coordination of promotional materials and inventory.

Currently enrolled undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in sales, marketing, and the media industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Familiarity with social media platforms.

Bonus Points For:

Previous internship or work experience in a related field.
Knowledge of the Detroit media market.
