What We Need:

Are you excited about a possible career in media sales? If so, this internship may be the perfect fit for you! You will complete all of the on-boarding training that our Account Executives do and even attend client meetings and help with client activations at station events.

NOTE: Due to grant requirements, you must be a New York State Resident currently attending an accredited 4 year college/university OR you can be a non-New York State resident attending college at an accredited NEW YORK college/university.


What You'll Do:


  • Compile screenshots and air checks for recaps

  • Help with the activation of client campaigns

  • Basic office work including but not limited to: filing, printing, binding, copying

  • Complete AE training modules 

  • Shadow AE on sales call(s)

  • Working knowledge of the tri-state area and mass transportation

  • Flexible work schedule – ability to work nights/weekends on occasion

Work Experience

  • Career interest in media industry


  • Must be COLLEGE STUDENT interested in a career in radio and television broadcasting

  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 hours of College/university coursework

  • Ideally is a current communications, broadcasting, marketing or mass media major looking to gain valuable sales/event marketing experience in the radio industry

  • Letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
