Audacy in Philadelphia has an entry level opportunity for a Sales Associate!

Audacy is looking for sales professionals ready to lead in the evolution of audio. As a member  of Audacy’s first group of Sales associates you will receive  a comprehensive onboarding and training program to ensure success as a media and audio sales professional. 


JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

  • Training and Development: Engage in an immersive learning experience focused on understanding our products and services, as well as the dynamics of the media business from a sales perspective.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to support sales efforts, including identifying potential clients,  and understanding market trends, and make recommendations during sales meetings.
  • Lead Generation: Prospect new clients both independently and in conjunction with Account Executives.
  • Client Interaction: Prepare client communications and foster client relationships in partnership with experienced team members.  Responsible for pre-sale and post-sale activities, including client proposals, attending sales meetings, building relationships and keeping track of deadlines. To be done independently and in partnerships with Management and Account Executives. 
  • Collaboration: Work with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service and  accurate delivery of campaign to client (Traffic, Promotions, Programming)
  • Key Performance Indicators: Meet assigned monthly/quarterly sales benchmarks including lead generation, client calls and other benchmarks. 

REQUIREMENTS

Required & Preferred:

  • Requires 4-year degree; Marketing, Business or Communications preferred or similar work experience
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and team members
  • Presentation and Public speaking skills 
  • Solutions orientated / problem-solving skills
  • A strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Basic understanding of the advertising ecosystem 
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team, supporting senior sales staff and contributing to overall team goals
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and willingness to learn new skills and processes
  • Microsoft and Google Product experience
  • Ability to work outside standard work hours to attend client events and off-sites 
  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
