DESCRIPTION
WVNS 59 News is seeking a Sales Assistant to assist the Sales Department in maximizing revenue opportunities. This includes but is not limited to sales order entry, sales presentations, and other sales clerical functions.
- Assist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to:
- Sales Presentations
- Order Entry
- Campaign Set Up
- Campaign Monitoring and Coordination
- Creative Requests
- Creative Trafficking
- Reporting & Analytics
- Assist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to:
- Digital Sales Materials
- Inventory Forecasting
- Campaign pacing
- Proposal Creation
- Campaign Set Up
- Campaign Coordination
- Campaign Performance Metrics
- Communication with both internal and external teams
- Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices and procedures
- Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders and other resources
- Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems
- Prepares forms and reports
- Monitors inventory
- Maintains files and other business records
- Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively collaborating in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Power Point and Microsoft Excel
- Minimum one year’s experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The Sales Assistant must be able to sit, reach, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. The Sales Assistant must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment or items weighing up to 25 pounds.
