Job Summary/Description:
The WDAM Sales Department is seeking a friendly, positive, self-motivated individual whose primary responsibilities will be to provide a variety of administrative support and increase productivity as Sales and Programming Assistant to the organization. Must thrive in a team environment, have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced work culture. This Assistant position is vital to our Team’s success and growth. Be part of a team that strives to exceed customer expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Accurate order and copy entry and revisions in Wide Orbit Traffic Software for broadcast and digital
· Contract maintenance and reconciliation
· Sales Research support and creation of sales proposals
· Act as liaison between WDAM Sales, Traffic, Marketing, and Advertisers
· Campaign pre/post-sales maintenance
· Schedule syndicated, local, and network programming for multiple station streams
· Provide support to Sales Management and Station Administration
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with the Sales Team, Management, and other Departments
· Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
· Broadcast and Digital sales experience preferred
· Proficiency with proprietary Traffic and Sales software systems, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required
· Strong mathematical skills required
