Indy Now is a dynamic, one-hour daily lifestyle show airing on FOX59 and CBS4, showcasing the best Indianapolis has to offer. We're looking for a talented and organized Producer to join our team and help us bring these stories to life.
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop story ideas that resonate with our Indianapolis audience.
- Work with Sales Team to deliver seamless and energetic segments for clients
- Secure interviews with interesting guests, business owners, and local personalities.
- Script and segment writing, ensuring content is informative and engaging.
- Work collaboratively with editors, on-air talent, and graphic designers to create a seamless and visually appealing show.
- Manage daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date on current events and trends relevant to the Indianapolis area.
- Assist with social media promotion for the show.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience producing content for broadcast television or a similar fast-paced media environment.
- Excellent storytelling and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience booking guests, scheduling shoots, and coordinating logistics a plus.
- Proficient in ENPS, Microsoft Office Suite and basic editing software a plus.
- Must be a team player with a positive and energetic attitude.
