Job Summary/Description:

The successful candidate will write, shoot, edit, produce, field direct, and creatively execute news promos, topicals commercials, station campaigns and digital projects.

The Promotion Producer will work with the Promotion Manager and Creative Services Director through the process of conceiving, executing, and delivering promos, graphic elements, behind-the-scenes promos and vignettes, and a wide variety of on-air and digital deliverables. Interacts with external and internal customers, including clients, account executives, and the news department. This person will also be responsible for additional projects including event marketing and social media marketing.

This position will be involved in daily production of news, marketing, and digital promotion for the station. Strong writing, producing, video editing, and digital marketing skills are required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software. Seeking an organized, creative self-starter with excellent communication skills who works well in collaborative team environments. Must have a valid driver's license with a clear motor vehicle record.

– 3+ years in video production
– BA/BS degree preferred
– Possess demonstrable experience producing and editing video content
– Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
– Be detail-oriented, very organized, able to multi-task, and able to work well with tight deadlines
– Experience with digital and social media marketing
