Job Description and Responsibilities
WFAA, the ABC affiliate in Dallas, Texas is seeking an organized and self-driven professional to lead efforts related to the station's programming calendar, regulations, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Ongoing management of WFAA programming including scheduling, system updates and external notifications
• Lead internal communication & coordination related to programming across departments
• Manage external reporting requirements, including FCC and music usage reporting
• Order closed captioning as needed partnering with external vendors as appropriate
• Manage local knowledge of requirements related to syndicated program contracts
• Track and manage ABC annual pre-emption bucket guidelines
• Manage & filter viewer communication and questions
JOB EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS
o Television experience a must
o Knowledge of Nielsen and Comscore
o Some knowledge of FCC rules, compliance and regulations
o Knowledge of MediaStar, eNames and ENPS a plus
o Extreme attention to detail with a thirst for accuracy
o Proactive and responsive nature
o Comfortable working with shifting priorities
