REQUIREMENTS
- Operate Grass Valley Ignite Automation Production System
- Operate Teleprompter and monitor Closed Captioning
- Adobe Premiere Editing
- Prepares and strikes studio for newscasts and productions
- Builds and decorates the set and/or provides props used for production
- Provide production-related support as needed and may work with outside production facilities
- Assist in digital media productions, liaising with appropriate departments
- Maintains and stores props, sets, lighting equipment
Requirements & Skills:
- Degree in Communication or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience directing live newscast with production automation (Grass Valley Ignite preferred)
- Must be able to interact well with news, production and engineering staff
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication and organization skills
