As a member of TEGNA’s Live Sports Production and Distribution team, the part time Sports Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting a wide range of live sports programming and affiliate stations. 

This is a temporary, part time role, expected through April 2025. Employee is expected to work in a hybrid capacity in our KUSA Denver station 3 days a week. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail throughout all stages of event production and distribution.

  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external partners, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner

  • Utilizes strong technical expertise in broadcast television and live production to troubleshoot issues rapidly

  • Frequently works nights and weekends to manage technical live event support and affiliate coordination bridges

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in live production coordination, with a focus on live sporting events

  •  Posses a strong background in sports production

     

  • Strong technical background in broadcast television and live production

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

     

  • Strategic problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges

     

  • Exceptional customer service mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners

Pay Range
$35$45 USD

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
