JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

Responsible for running broadcast board inclusive of digital editing, recording and maintaining network feeds.
Protects the company’s FCC license.
May be required to perform light production work
Implement social media strategy for WSTR
Assist with social media planning and scheduling for cluster brands
Assist with generation of web and social content.
Other duties as required by management.

REQUIREMENTS

Required & Preferred:

Must have proficiency and knowledge of the following social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
Must be a creative problem solver who understands and lives the WSTR brand
Must perform with little supervision
Must have familiarity with FCC rules and regulations preferred
High school diploma required; college degree in media-related major preferred.
Minimum 2 years previous experienced preferred
Familiarity with station format required
