The Photographer is responsible for gathering video for news, sports and weather broadcast, and web by shooting and editing video for general assignments. The work performed is for all media platforms and initiatives, including on-air, website, app and social media.
II. Essential Job Functions

50% Researches, shoots and edits daily stories for air and online.
20% Operates ENG van and other vehicles as assigned
20% Sets up and operates lighting equipment as needed
10% Responsible for maintenance of all assigned video equipment and other special projects as assigned.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Completion of high school, or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum two years’ experience in broadcast news photography and editing.
REQUIREMENTS
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be computer literate and web savvy.
Must possess good photography, editing and organizational skills.
% Travel Required (Approximate): local travel required daily.
