DESCRIPTION
Allen Media Broadcasting is looking for a strong, high energy newscast producer for WKOW-TV in Madison, Wisconsin.
We are looking for a storyteller with solid news judgement and strong writing skills who can produce creative, compelling, and visually appealing newscasts every day. Our producers contribute content on multiple platforms, including television, web, mobile and social media.
A college degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field is preferred.
WKOW is an award-winning ABC affiliate in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin. Not only are we in the Capital City, but Madison is home to the University of Wisconsin and consistently listed as one of the best places to live in the country.
JOB EXPERIENCE
A college degree and at least one year of experience are preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong writing and storytelling skills, solid news judgment, and knowledge of AP style are critical for this position.
