ABC 6 & FOX 28 is looking for a Morning Newscast Director!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

TD newscasts and other productions using a fully automated control room
Prep and maintain production studio and control room
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned
Works with producers on rundown preparation and show presentation
Troubleshoot any problems during newscasts.

Requirements:

Experience directing newscasts. Experience with robotic cameras, Ross Overdrive and iNews a plus
Knowledge of production standards and equipment
Basic knowledge of studio and production equipment such as microphones, IFBs, audio consoles and video switchers
Ability to clearly give direction to crew and talent while under pressure
Typing and good spelling skills
Ability to read and write
College degree preferred
Must be able to lift & position 40 lb. lighting instruments.
Availability to work weekends and holidays
