DESCRIPTION
Provides support to personnel producing newscasts for broadcast across all platforms.
1. Assists with writing scripts and preparing news stories.
2. Edits video.
3. Writes stories for the website and other eMedia platforms.
4. Interacts with viewers/users on social media sites.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Work experience and education required for position:

High school diploma.

Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.

Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexibility to work any shift.
REQUIREMENTS
Special Skills Required:

Fluency in English.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
