Job Summary/Description:

WLOX is looking for a creative, visual storyteller to join its award-winning news team. Primary duties include gathering video, interviews, and information, editing for broadcast and digital/social platforms, setting up/executing multiple live shots per shift, and other duties as assigned. A journalism or communication background is a big plus.

Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

– Gather video, interviews, and information for news stories
– Edit video for broadcast and digital/social platforms
– Set up and execute live shots
– Other duties as assigned


– Schedule flexibility is a must. This is a full-time hourly position and may include working overnight, holidays, and weekends as well as some overtime
– A motor vehicle record background check is required
– Candidates must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
