Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a strong leader with a positive mindset who can help lead our digital sales efforts. Gray offers extensive sales and marketing training for the best advertising products to sell in the market. The Multimedia Sales Manager (MSM) will help lead the station's efforts in the development of new and incremental digital business; reduce digital churn; and work side by side with the station's sales management while coaching, training, mentoring, and leading a top-notch group of local Multimedia Executives (MEs).

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

– Manage and lead the team by participating in client meetings, building relationships with top clients, and being active in the community
– Responsible for achieving the station’s digital revenue goals
– Drive profitable growth through management & oversight of ad inventory across the core site and audience extension networks
– Ensure the team understands and utilizes Digital & Broadcast tools & resources to ensure effective Marketing campaigns
– Work alongside current leadership in cultivating & promoting a positive, successful culture
– Manage, coach, train, support, and motivate the team of local MEs and support staff
– Ability to forecast revenue, develop and sustain a business plan to exceed sales revenue objectives
– Remain current on industry trends in the digital space; e.g., mobile, display, CTV, SEM, email marketing, and social
– Develop and deliver best practices for digital knowledge among the sales staff and clients

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Must have proven, successful experience in sales
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet committed to a positive team environment
– Strong organizational, prioritizing & leadership skills within a fast-paced environment
– Able to manage the decision-making process quickly, accurately, and calmly, adapting quickly to changing priorities
– Oversee digital revenue forecasting and pricing models to drive growth
– Promote a positive, result-oriented culture that is passionate about the business, career, and helping clients be successful
– Highly organized with a creative mindset
– Ability to multi-task multiple projects
– Ability to convert challenges into opportunities
– 2 years or more experience in sales; media advertising preferred
– Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
– Strong leadership skills that include the ability to train, coach, and motivate individuals and team
