Job Summary/Description:
WCJB has a Multimedia Marketing Consultant position open in our Gainesville office, covering the Lake City to Ocala geographical areas. We offer a client list, generous compensation, extensive training and fantastic benefits as we are part of the Gray Television family of stations. This position has six-figure income potential if you are successful.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
– Generate sales leads and close new business
– Sell products and services across all platforms (broadcast TV, digital, and social media)
– Provide input on sales promotion ideas
– Retain current clients and develop new business contacts
– Attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations, promotions and service
– Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising and fresh ideas
– Our broadcast sales area is from Lake City to Ocala and points east and west; our digital footprint is everywhere!
– Order input and other responsibilities associated with managing clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Great communication and people skills
– Strong organizational and written skills
– Experience with Microsoft office – PowerPoint and Excel used frequently
– Competitive, energetic and self-starter
– Professional appearance a must
