DESCRIPTION

CBS 6 and the CW15 in Albany, NY are currently seeking a highly creative Multimedia Content Producer to join our Creative Services Team. We hire talented people who thrive in a collaborative environment. You have the opportunity to work with a team filled with spirit, passion, and imagination.

The successful candidate must have video production experience and be able to conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit compelling content for station clients, news products, and programming across all digital and linear broadcast streams. The ability to work well with internal and external clients is vital.

JOB EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Produce a wide range of video content, including commercials, PSA's, station promos, and occasional long-form videos for distribution across multiple platforms.
Take charge of directing and shooting video productions both in-studio and on location, utilizing DSLR and ENG cameras.
Apply a sharp eye for lighting, staging, framing, and innovative videography techniques to create captivating videos.
Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure timely execution and delivery of high-quality videos approved by relevant stakeholders.
Develop advertising concepts and bring them to life by producing, scriptwriting, shooting, and editing.
Oversee all phases of production, from conceptualization and scripting to pre-production and post-production.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in producing, shooting, and editing impactful video content.
Strong videography skills, with a preference for knowledge of DSLR cameras.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Exceptional project management skills and a track record of successfully completing projects from initiation to client approval.
Solid grasp of graphic design principles, with an eye for color, typography, and composition.
Advanced knowledge of post-production processes, including media management and video encoding in various formats.
Exceptional attention to detail, adept time management, and effective communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse projects and collaborate across various production styles while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Capacity to organize and maintain digital assets, archives, and editing systems.
Staying current with the latest trends in video production.
Ability to routinely handle equipment weighing over 40 lbs.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
