Job Summary/Description:
KOLD 13 NEWS & Gray Digital Media looking for a skilled and results-driven Account Executive/Digital Specialist to join our team of integrated marketing/advertising professionals. Candidates must be local to Tucson Arizona.
Are you a high-energy creative individual who likes working with people? KOLD 13 NEWS is seeking an energetic, motivated, and competitive Experience Media Account Executive with the primary responsibility of growing advertising revenue with existing accounts and through new business development. We are seeking a person who can adapt quickly to new technologies and maximize sales on all of our over-the-air and digital platforms. A strong work ethic and the ability to formulate and execute a daily plan is a must. This is a fast-paced and fun business that requires persistence, organization, creativity, and interpersonal skills. This position is in Tucson, AZ. Experience in media sales is required. The chosen candidate will receive training, full benefits, and a generous compensation plan.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Represent KOLD 13 NEWS to local clients in the Tucson/ Southern Arizona DMA on all station linear and the best and most comprehensive digital platforms in the marketplace. Understanding customer growth needs reaching goals and budgets and utilizing CRM tools
• Develop new business and deliver advertising results for clients
• Identify and present marketing solutions to a variety of local businesses in a variety of fields
• Prospect for new accounts – make cold calls to secure needs analysis meetings and peak business interest with all the exciting programs and products we have to offer
• Research accounts and the marketplace consistently
• Work with Creative Services on commercial production, the Traffic Department on advertising copy traffic, Finance Department on invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues
