DESCRIPTION

A WUSA Marketing Content Producer?is primarily involved in the production & execution of marketing projects for station content, community initiatives and sales client needs. You are a passionate storyteller who creates content for all mediums including social media, linear television, and digital platforms.

You believe in a strong work ethic, which we define as someone who brings their own views to projects to help us grow, focuses on their priorities, and actively communicates across teams.

You have a team first mentality.

You hold yourself accountable to our standards of creative.

You are involved in all aspects of creative including concepting, planning, production, and post-production.

Responsibilities:

  • Having a positive attitude with a team & brand first mentality
  • Working with the station’s Director of Marketing and team leadership to execute creative concepts for a wide range of campaigns including but not limited to brand image campaigns, and topicals.
  • Learning knowledge of motion graphics.
  • Strong ability to use mirrorless cameras to film content.
  • Strong copywriting skills for marketing promotional content.
  • Being comfortable leading certain projects.
  • Comfortable collaborating with several people on a project or handling tasks individually.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to tight and sometimes quick deadlines.
  • Ability to be adaptable with creative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to track multiple projects at one time.
  • While most days you’ll work typical hours, you might be asked to work a flexible schedule that may require working some nights, weekends and being present during breaking news situations.
  • Develop concepts that connect with our audiences across platforms including broadcast, digital and social.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

  • College degree in?journalism, marketing, advertising, or related field preferred.
  • Two-plus years of relevant professional work experience or related experience.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Strong working experience working with mirrorless cameras and knowledge of lighting.
  • Working knowledge for design & animation skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong filming skills for marketing promos and social content.
  • Effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to react to change and take direction / constructive criticism effectively and productively.
