Position Title: Marketing Consultant
Position Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Salary: Commission Based, as follows:
- Guaranteed compensation for the first six months at a weekly rate of $1000.00 (gross).
- After 6 months, the employee moves to 100 % commission-based pay after the 6-month guarantee.
- Budgeted Compensation Range: $42,000-$75,000/annually
About this role: Our Marketing Consultants harness the power of our television, streaming, and digital marketing platforms to grow local businesses through Broadcast TV and Digital advertising. They maintain relationships with current advertising clients along with developing new clients. Strong communication skills along with proficient presentation skills are essential in this position.
What you'll do: Servicing existing advertising accounts at the station, also developing new local advertising accounts through TV and Digital Advertising sales.
- Presentations to local businesses about the benefit of advertising on the station and digital properties.
- Coordinate with the production crew on creating spots, and assist with production, as necessary.
- Ensuring accounts are current in payment.
- Networking through community and publicity events.
