Marketing Consultants are responsible for working directly with local clients and advertising agencies to craft successful marketing and branding campaigns. You must be self-motivated, goal-driven, passionate, charismatic, customer-focused, and creative with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must also possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities for this role may include:
- Expand local sales revenue by identifying and securing new clients
- Service & grow existing client relationships
- Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth
- Sell broadcast radio & digital advertising
- Deliver sales presentations
- Oversee all elements of the sales process for your clients
- Attend weekly sales meetings & training
- Attend station events as requested
Experience / Qualifications: Two years of outside sales experience is preferred but not required. Strong oral, written and presentation skills required. Must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, good communications skills, creative writing skills and computer skills. Attention to details and deadlines are a must.
