Job Summary/Description:
Do you have what it takes to host the top lifestyle shows in South Mississippi? Then, WLOX is looking for you! We are on the hunt for the next host of Shop South Mississippi, and Healthy Living. Two lifestyle shows with a 20+ year legacy. As the host of this show, you will be responsible for hosting multiple pieces weekly and will split your time between hosting and helping produce content, to sell for the top stations in the market, WLOX ABC and CBS.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Interviewing show guests/clients both in the studio and on location.
* Research shows topics and develops questions for guests to help ensure a smooth production.
* Participate in events/promotions to help promote the shows.
* Maintain social media accounts for the show and assist with all online content.
* Achieve television and digital revenue goals.
* Sell advertising time for both the show and all other products/services we offer.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Video introduction is required.
* Proven experience as a host or on-air personality.
* Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Maintains positive client and station personnel relationships.
* Be a great team player, and driven to help others succeed.
