Job Summary/Description:

The Interim Director of Sales is an in-the-trenches and on-the-street leader who will work directly with the sales team and collaborate with other departments to positively and effectively impact business and meet client and internal goals. The role will oversee broadcast and digital sales.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Create and sustain a sales culture aimed at providing clients with everything they need to find their customers
• Create broadcast and digital sales initiatives
• Participate in developing station strategy
• Build and hit budgets
• Create timely and accurate sales reports, including forecasts
• Recruit new team members
• Utilize audience measurement tools to develop customer marketing strategies
• Collaborate with other departments to meet the goals of the clients and company
• Accompany team members on face-to-face calls
• Create a healthy team culture and coach and develop our current staff of Media Executives

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred in the related field.
• Equivalent work experience may suffice.

Experience:
• Previously held LSM, DSM, or GSM/DOS role.
• Three+ years of sales experience.
• Sustained revenue growth on both broadcast and digital platforms.
• Preference given to candidates experienced with Wide Orbit and Matrix
