The Executive Producer works as part of the news management team supervising news content across all media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Define strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial objectives
Manage newsroom, contribute to the editorial process and help lead in breaking news situations
Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devices

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film or the equivalent work experience
At least 5 years’ experience in television news as a producer or executive producer
Must be able to interact well with anchors, reporters, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staff
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations
Utilize state-of-art television technology

Salary ranges from $110,000-$120,000 based off experience.
