DESCRIPTION

The Executive Producer will oversee lifestyle content for the lifestyle program This n That. Content is sales driven with client interaction as well as community and entertainment engagement. In this position, you will be working on a day-to-day production which includes producing daily content, line producing, daily digital content and working with the sales team.

WTVC has an immediate opening for an Executive Producer to oversee lifestyle content for the program This n That. The ideal candidate will produce daily lifestyle content and oversee production of the program, social media content and special programming. You will work closely with show host, sales, clients and other lifestyle team members.

Some additional responsibilities of our Executive Producer will include:

Oversee daily lifestyle program including daily booking and social media posting to ensure we are serving our local advertisers and community partners.
Manage daily show production including writing, shooting & editing content, graphic support, social media posting.
Collaborate with other lifestyle team members and station managers to create content for broadcast and social engagement.
Planning and overseeing long term show planning including special event programming, on-location productions and events.
Collaborating with the sales team to create client driven content for broadcast and social platforms.
Other responsibilities as direct by department head
Be willing to travel outside the Chattanooga DMA. Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

What skills do you need to be successful in our role?

Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms
Ability to manage daily, weekly and monthly bookings for sales and community guests
Ability to identity problems and provide solutions
Extraordinary people skills with an emphasis on client services
Understanding of how to drive digital traffic and create engaging digital posts.
Minimum of 5 years of experience producing in a television environment or equivalent
A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred
Adobe Creative Cloud Experience (Premiere/Photoshop/Encore)
