Position Title: Director of SWX & Community Experiences
Position Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Position Pay: $28.85-$33.65 Pr./Hr. DOE
About this Role
The Director of SWX & Community Experiences leads the growth of SWX, a NonStop Local brand, into a destination for sports, information, entertainment, and community connection. This position turns strategy into action by creating experiences, building partnerships, developing original franchises, and generating new revenue opportunities that strengthen the relationship between NonStop Local and the communities we serve. Success in this role requires disciplined execution.
Working companywide across Marketing, Sales, News, Sports, Digital, Production, and Community Relations, this role ensures every initiative supports our overarching mission of Content Connecting Community while reinforcing SWX as The NonStop Local Pulse of the Community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual strategy for SWX, a NonStop Local brand, including planning and workflow.
- Create original programming, community initiatives, live events, and audience experiences that differentiate SWX from competitors.
- Coordinate with the Director of Strategic Partnerships for branded content, experiential marketing opportunities, and non-traditional revenue streams.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness across television, streaming, FAST, YouTube, social media, digital, radio, and community outreach.
- Collaborate with News, Sports, Marketing, Digital, and Community teams to maximize cross-platform storytelling and audience engagement.
- Identify trends, partnerships, and growth opportunities that strengthen the SWX brand while expanding audience reach.
- Develop and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly content, event, and promotional calendars aligned with strategic priorities.
- Serve as the steward of SWX brand standards, ensuring consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity across all platforms.
- Supports additional strategic initiatives, organizational priorities, and special projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Audience & Marketing to ensure NonStop Local remains responsive to changing business opportunities and community needs.

Performance Measurement
This position is accountable for achieving established quarterly and annual KPIs supporting audience growth, community engagement, brand awareness, cross-platform collaboration, and non-traditional revenue in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in content production or media environments.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments.
- Working knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
- On-camera hosting ability preferred
- Understanding of content optimization and schema-based workflows preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to forty pounds of equipment.
- Must have schedule flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
