Position Title:Director of Strategic Partnerships 

Position Status:Full-time, Exempt 

Salary:Commission Based, as follows: 

  • Budgeted Compensation Range: $80,000-$85,000/annual. 
  • Uncapped commission potential. 

About This Role: The Director of Strategic Partnerships drives high-impact, cross-platform sponsorships and community partnerships across all NonStop Local markets. This role translates community goodwill and brand initiatives into measurable revenue, integrating advertiser objectives with editorial and promotional strategy. 

This position is central to reducing silos between sales, marketing, and content, ensuring cohesive client storytelling across broadcast, digital, and SWX sports assets. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Sell Sponsorships: 

  • Lead ideation, packaging, and sale of sponsorship opportunities tied to community initiatives, news campaigns, SWX programming, and branded content. 
  • Collaborate with local sales teams to ensure consistent sponsorship standards and pricing across markets. 

Community & Brand Integration: 

  • Build revenue models around cause marketing, public service partnerships, and local events. 
  • Partner with Marketing to amplify sponsorships through digital, social, and streaming platforms. 
  • Design sponsorship frameworks for SWX live sports, NIL content, and community sports storytelling. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Work to align branded content, programmatic, and event revenue. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing on creative messaging and promotional execution. 
  • Ensure operational alignment with Traffic, Production, and Digital teams. 

Strategic Reporting: 

  • Track sponsorship performance and ROI by campaign and category. 
  • Identify opportunities for scaling successful models across markets. 

Qualifications: 

· Proven success in broadcast or media sponsorship sales. 

· Demonstrated ability to create and execute branded content campaigns. 

· Strong cross-department collaboration and client presentation skills. 

· Passion for community engagement and local storytelling.
