DESCRIPTION
Director and Technical Director for complex, fast-paced, live and taped news and news related programs using the Grass Valley Ignite Digital HD Production System and ENPS Newsroom software as primary production tools. Team leader for assigned newscast and other programs. Works closely with program Producers to develop and execute program presentation elements. Also works other production jobs as assigned as editor for promotions and special projects. Director, Photographer or Audio Operator for other special projects and remote broadcasts.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Experience and proficiency as a newscast Director and Technical Director programming and operating a Grass Valley Ignite Digital Production System using ENPS Newsroom software to code. 1 to 2 years of using Ignite or some similar Production automation system. Must be able to quickly troubleshoot and solve on-air problems. Good time management and people skills. NLE experience required. Additional experience as a Photographer, Audio Operator and Director on a traditional switcher very desirable.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency as a Newscast Director and Technical Director programming and operating the Grass Valley Ignite digital Production system and ENPS Newsroom software. Must be able to quickly troubleshoot and solve on-air problems. Good time management and people skills. NLE experience required. Will consider training on Ignite system if applicant is a skilled Director/Technical Director on a similar automation system using ENPS.
