KIII-TV Corpus Christi, Tx seeks a proven Digital Sales Manager to provide strong leadership for our digital sales initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for new media, enjoys staying up to date with its evolution, understands digital marketing strategy and thrives in a customer-focused team environment. Required strengths include: the ability to strategically plan, communicate effectively, maintain internal/external customer relationships and training.

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and execute advertiser account strategies including revenue goals for all digital products and service offerings.

• Serve as lead negotiator for digital business; review key sales proposals in advance to ensure client goals are met in a manner consistent with TEGNA sales guidelines.

• Support local sellers in sales presentations at the pre-sale, presentation, and post-sale phase; to multiple points of contact with advertiser/agency personnel. This includes generating non-traditional revenue and new sales initiatives.

• Meet with clients to develop/strengthen business relationships, drive client retention.

• Meet with local and regional sales teams, including individual one on one meetings, to ensure their professional development and success with stated goals.

• Design and facilitate ongoing digital sales and implementation training for the account team.

• Works in partnership with DOS & LSM to lead weekly digital sales meetings, digital sales implementation training and account planning.

• Lead and coordinate digital campaign implementation efforts with Digital Account Managers to ensure advertiser goals are met.

• Prepare and maintain digital revenue forecasts in CRM tool.

• Review and approve new and revised insertion orders.

• Prepare and present advertiser proof of performance reports.

• Stay focused and informed and at the forefront in responding to dynamic market/business conditions.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements: 

• Have a complete understanding of current digital marketing strategies and products.

• Understanding of pricing and inventory management principles.

• Ability to dissect an advertising RFP; identify key revenue opportunities and prepare a comprehensive and winning response.

• Ability to prospect, meet with, and close business with new and current advertisers.

• Possess the skills to manage and supervise others.

Qualifications Requirements :

• 3+ years’ experience in digital media.

• Experience in management and leading a team.

• Knowledge of the OTT space – direct experience with OTT products is a plus.

• Effective communication and organization skills.

• Proficient in building presentation, reporting, forecasting, and analyzing campaigns.

• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Sales Force and Monarch Matrix, a plus.

• Google Analytics Certification, a plus.

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment

Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
