Job Summary/Description:
WTAP is looking for a full-time Creative Services Producer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of commercial and station promotional spots from conception to completion.
Duties include regular communication and meetings with media account managers and clients to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials, in addition to the production of station promotions as needed. This person will be expected to be a team player and take part in all aspects of commercial production for use on both our broadcast and digital platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills for regular professional interaction with media account managers, clients, talent, all internal employees, and external organizations. Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills as well as creativity are critical.
– The ability to work under deadline pressure, remain detail-oriented and organized while managing multiple projects, and be punctual is a must.
– Candidate must have writing, shooting, and non-linear editing skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a must along with knowledge of Vegas Pro editing software and Microsoft Word and Excel.
– Some equipment lifting is required.
– Some evening and weekend work is occasionally required. Be able to assist in station-sponsored events and promotion activities when needed.
– A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
– Must have a clean driving record.
