KSEE 24 and CBS 47 is accepting qualified applications for a full-time Creative Services Producer-Photographer. Top candidate must be organized and effective in a fast-paced work environment. This position works closely with the Creative Services Director, and with Senior Promotion and Production staff to visualize and execute concepts that meet station objectives. Shooting segments and episodic programs, and shooting and editing long form videos for community partner events will be a priority in this position. The Creative Services Producer-Photographer regularly interacts with sales staff, local businesses, news talent and staff, and community partners.
This is not an entry level position.

JOB EXPERIENCE
Three years of related academic or professional experience. Broadcast or creative marketing agency experience is preferred. College degree is preferred.
Write, direct, light, shoot, and edit spots, from concept to completion, to create successful marketing messages for local direct and regional commercials and station promotions, for both broadcast and digital platforms, under guidance and review of CSD and senior producers
Regularly-scheduled shooting of medical show packages and intros, lifestyle show interviews on location, shooting and editing of community partner videos as needed
- Shoot commercials and locally produced shows with team producer/director
- Collaborate with creative team to produce broadcast and digital videos that are on-brand, driving results
- Shoot and script writing of both short and long form videos from concept to completion
- Coordinate production, including working with clients, account executives, agencies, as well as planning location(s), talent, music, voice-over and reserving any other items (camera’s, vehicles, etc.) for projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with short deadlines, frequent changes in direction and priority
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Manage video equipment and software needs
- Mentor junior commercial producers as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, proficient quick turnarounds on all projects with attention to detail, and ability to meet all deadlines
Creative scripting, shooting and non-linear editing experience is a must
Advanced knowledge of High-definition (HD) cameras, videography and proper lighting techniques
Software skills required include Adobe CC Suite production package including; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and Media Encoder; Ross Xpression experience is a plus
Basic color correction, knowledge of graphics design/video/digital file formats, knowledge of codecs and aspect ratios for exporting and rendering projects for TV and print
Strong understanding of fundamental design, a strong sense of color, typography, and composition
Knowledge of post-production process, including media management and encoding video and formats
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record as some travel may be required for commercial shoots and production meetings with advertisers of the station
Knowledge of project management software (Monday.com) and collaboration platform (Frame.io) a plus
Occasional early morning, weekend or evening shifts may be required for event set-up or teardown, or for commercial, local show or promotional shoots
This position is a full-time, union position.
$24.22 per hour
