Job Summary/Description:
KTIV is looking for a creative and energetic individual who wants to work in the exciting world of broadcast television. This position will write, shoot, and edit commercials for our advertising clients as well as station promos and PSAs. This unique position provides an incredible growth opportunity in the technical and creative aspects of the broadcast industry. The ideal candidate will be a creative self-starter and strong communicator with hands-on knowledge and experience in video production. If you have initiative and creativity, we want you on our team.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Script writing, project coordination, shooting and editing videos for station promotion, PSA, or commercial projects.
* Participate in the planning and execution of station community and promotional events.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* This position favors a relevant communications degree and/or a strong background in Adobe Creative Suite; video production, photography, creative thinking, and writing.
* A strong background in lighting and audio is a plus.
