WZZM is looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated Copy Coordinator. Copy Coordinatorsinput all digital/broadcast orders into our traffic system and ensure the appropriate commercial messages are running according to advertiser instructions. Responsibilities:
- Work with account executives in sales fulfillment by entering broadcast and digital orders.
- Secure and accurately input traffic instructions for assigned list of broadcast and digital advertisers.
- Ensure commercials are received, downloaded, and processed correctly by deadlines.
- Input new orders and change requests into the traffic system, encompassing a wide range of products, including all broadcast and digital products.
- Account coordination for assigned group of local account executives, while simultaneously managing copy coordination for extensive lists of both local and national accounts.
- Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertisers and communicate with all stakeholders regarding the status of any issues.
- Manage storage of commercials and purge spots weekly based on expiration dates and client requests.
- Send dub list reports to TEGNA Streaming Center and make manual log changes as needed.
- Daily interaction with sellers and buyers to present proof of performance such as pre/post logs, pacing reports, airchecks, and various other requests.
- Utilize inventory reports and other data to assist with makegood packages, collaborating with internal team and clients to secure placement of spots.
Requirements:
- Excellent Outlook email management skills.
- Solid time management, oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high-pressured environment to meet strict deadlines.
- Superior organizational skills – must be able to manage multiple priorities with confidence and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of digital ad units and digital marketing technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with “can do” attitude.
- College degree with at least two years of broadcast or digital traffic experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of video codecs, file formats, and editing skills preferred.
- Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales experience preferred.
