DESCRIPTION
Commercial Sales Producer
WAVY TV is seeking an experienced and talented creative individual to join our award-winning Creative Services team. We are searching for a Commercial Sales Producer who can multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment! Qualified candidates must be able to create, conceptualize, write, shoot and edit high quality commercials for our clients This position will play a key role in increasing station advertising revenue. It is vital that the ideal candidate works well with others; both internally as well as with external clients.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
- Meet deadlines with clients, management and staff
- Manage equipment maintenance and usage
- Properly coordinate and schedule all aspects of commercial production
- Work cohesively with clients, Sales and Promotions staff and, at times, agencies.
- Work with Sales and Promotion management to create a mutually beneficial relationship with clients in the community
- Participate and engage in client strategy meetings to determine ideal marketing solutions
- Coordinate with Sales department to get spots approved and on-air/online
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and related Creative Cloud programs
- Extensive shooting and scripting of both short and long form spots
- The ability to write, shoot, and edit content that tells a compelling story
- A strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography, and composition
- Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
- The ability to maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles, while employing strong client service skills
- Advanced knowledge of production equipment and videography, motion graphics, and creative lighting techniques
- Superb attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable with client interaction
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- The ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40lbs
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in broadcast production is a must
- A college degree is preferred
- Must be willing and able to work any and all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, if needed
