WUSA9, the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate in Washington, DC, is currently seeking a talented and qualified candidate for a part-time Studio Technician

Responsibilities: 
•    Robotic Camera setup and operation for live newscasts, cut-ins, local programs, and commercial projects
•    Ensure effective interaction between the control room and studio
•    Other assigned duties to include: Live Shot Acquisition, Media Ingest.
Qualified candidates will have experience with the following equipment and systems:
•    Strong working knowledge of studio and location equipment including, but not limited to:
o    Robotic studio cameras
o    Studio Lighting
o    Live shot acquisition and media ingest processes
•    Experience with ENPS and Bit Central server systems also a plus.
•    Directing experience in an automated control room a plus
Requirements:
•    Two (2) years' experience in various aspects of television production preferred.
•    Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on working as a team with producers
•    Strong leadership and organizational skills
•    Knowledge of Metropolitan Washington, DC
•    Personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic and winning
•    Ability to work weekends and holidays and fill in during the week on occasion.

Pay Range
$35$35 USD

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
