Responsibilities:
- Operate a Sony MVS-6000 production switcher.
- Cover other production areas including studio operations, audio, and master control duties.
- Identify and implement high quality production elements.
- Collaborate with a team of multimedia technicians, producers, and on-air talent to deliver clean, dynamic live and pre-recorded content.
JOB EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum two years of experience manually directing on a multi-format, production switcher system in a fast-paced news environment.
- Must be a team player able to collaborate, but also comfortable taking the lead and guiding the crew.
- Working knowledge of broadcast technologies including switchers, routing systems, master control servers, audio consoles, and remote studio camera controls.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must work well under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to make quick decisions in a live environment.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs.
