DESCRIPTION

97.1 FM Talk (KFTK – St. Louis) is looking for a full-time Associate Producer to join our team! The right person for this position will have a passion for NewsTalk radio and a desire to grow the brand on-air, in the community, and on social media; with significant attentiveness to digital content production.

JOB EXPERIENCE

What You'll Do:

Contributing creative story ideas, operating a control board, producing live radio, managing breaking news, and managing audio content for distribution across various platforms
Write, develop, edit, and publish content and copy for a variety of digital platforms across the station and individual shows – including websites, blogs, videos, social media posts/reels, and more
Identify areas of opportunity and growth for the radio station
Protect station image and licensing in accordance with applicable agencies

REQUIREMENTS

Required & Preferred:

Minimum one year of experience producing or editing radio/audio content
Interest in news, current events, history, and pop culture
Proficiency in audio editing
Proficiency in video editing
Sharp attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
