DESCRIPTION

KEPR has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Weather Anchor / Reporter. In this role, you will be required to report 3 days during the week and anchor weather segments on the weekends. You will also be the primary fill-in Weather Anchor during the week. While prior experience is preferred, entry-level candidates will be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Experience:

A self-starter who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis
Ability to demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and solicit original story ideas

Requirements and Qualifications:

Previous anchoring experience is preferred
Flexible schedule
Previous Live shot experience is preferred
Previous experience working in a team environment is a must

The base salary compensation range for this role is $17.00/hr to $19.81/hr. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
