DESCRIPTION
Harrisburg TV, LLC, the ABC affiliate in Cape Girardeau/Paducah/Harrisburg DMA, is seeking a versatile player to join our award-winning team as a daytime news anchor.
The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist who can do it all and relishes being a leader. You’ll work closely with producers and reporters to develop content for multiple newscasts, as well as content for web, mobile, and social media platforms.
JOB EXPERIENCE
In addition to anchoring, this position includes some reporting and producing. The ability to creatively tell a story and file engaging reports is a must.
This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate has reporting and anchoring experience and now wants to connect with the audience on an even greater level.
REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Journalism or Mass Communications is highly desired.

WSIL is located in southern Illinois (Marion – Carbondale). Our coverage area also includes southeast Missouri and western Kentucky.
