DESCRIPTION

The Account Managers (AM) within our team are tasked with formulating and overseeing the advertising solutions offered by Account Executives (AEs). The Account Manager assumes a pivotal role as the primary liaison for our clients and orchestrates the collaborative efforts of all internal team members involved in the fulfillment and execution process, aiming to assist clients in attaining their desired business outcomes and achieving a robust return on investment.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage daily with existing agency and direct client engagements; this role encompasses the management and guardianship of client timetables on television and online platforms, consistent monitoring of client audience delivery, showcasing the station's offerings, and consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare presentations encompassing TV packages, sports, specials, and other recommendations for recurring or new business.
  • Collaborate with designated Account Executives to oversee contracts, make-goods, and overall customer support.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the station to execute sponsorships and promotions successfully.
  • Liaise with the Traffic Department as necessary to facilitate precise scheduling of customer traffic.
  • Proficiently make independent decisions and resolve issues on behalf of designated Account Executives.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of TEGNA and the station's products, processes, and services to effectively communicate with clients when required.
  • Partner with designated Account Executives to cultivate new and incremental revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Sales Manager in the execution of digital campaigns as sold by designated Account Executives. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely execution, booking, trafficking, and continuous monitoring of all digital campaigns to ensure successful delivery and communication.
  • Accountable for identifying trends and opportunities to enhance product conversion and overall campaign performance.
  • Establish new customer accounts, contracts, order entries, and revisions, ensuring meticulous accuracy.
  • Possess self-motivation and a strong willingness to contribute as an effective team player. Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to adapt to our ever-evolving industry also constitute essential components of success.

  • Adept at meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Display self-initiative and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Possess a college degree, highly preferred.
