KXTV in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Sales Account Manager to work with our major accounts team. We are seeking a collaborative, proactive person to help manage the day-to-day on-air and online responsibilities of assigned accounts and team members. This position will assist in influencing and driving sales by providing customer support and by aligning the company’s multimedia solutions with our customer's marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a collaborative, proactive person to help manage the day-to-day on-air and online responsibilities of assigned accounts and team members
  • This position will assist in influencing and driving sales by providing customer support and by aligning the company’s multimedia solutions with our customers marketing objectives
  • Daily interaction with existing agency and direct client business; these responsibilities include management and stewardship of client schedules on television and online, regular tracking of client audience delivery using ComScore, merchandising the station and providing a high level of customer service

Requirements:

  • Related experience in television and digital account management or client services, preferably within the advertising industry
  • Working knowledge of Wide Orbit, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
  • Creative and able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management
Pay Range
$25$26.44 USD

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% – 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
