DESCRIPTION

WTIC/WCCT the FOX and CW affiliates in the Hartford Connecticut market, are seeking an Account Manager. This position is responsible for managing day to day responsibilities of assigned accounts and team members. The role is designed to provide an optimal customer experience and drive sales by providing customer support by aligning the company’s multimedia solutions with our customers’ marketing objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with existing agency and direct client business; this responsibility includes maintenance of client schedules on television and online in addition to implementation of special projects and promotions.

    • Works in tandem with AE, Research, Sales Coordinator, and Creative Services to develop sales presentations and recap reports.

    • Attends sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product and process information, and to keep abreast of company products and services in order to articulate to clients, when appropriate.

    • Partners with designated Account Executives in the development of new/incremental revenue.

    • Work with Creative Services and designated Account Executives to facilitate commercial production.

    • Works with Traffic Department as necessary to facilitate accurate scheduling of customers’ traffic.

    • Able to make decisions and solve problems independently in an effort to support the customer.

    • Assists designated Account Executives with maintenance of contracts, generating avails, traffic, make-goods, collections and overall customer service.

    • Regular tracking of client audience delivery using ComScore ratings and digital fulfillment.

    • Sets up new customer accounts, contracts, assist with order entry, and revisions. Checks for accuracy.

Requirements:

  • • High school diploma required (college degree preferred)

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Experience in WideOrbit and Salesforce preferred

    • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

    • High energy & self-motivated

    • Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a team
